Healing
After a breakup, you will need time to heal. Grieving is a natural part
of the process; you may also go through stages of anger, regret, or guilt.
In time, you come to accept that the separation was the right thing to
do. You may always feel a touch of sadness when you look back, but you
know you're ready to move ahead with what you have learned.
You may enter a shared life with a new partner and find a happiness that
you never thought possible before. You may discover that you love your
autonomy and that you don't want to be in a life-long commitment. Or you
may find yourself somewhere in between.
A breakup can be a positive, empowering force. It is often the passage
to a wonderful new beginning.
